Motorcyclist killed in road accident 2
Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Shantala area of Jhenaidah highway in Jessore. The accident happened last Tuesday around 9:30 pm.
The deceased are Bulu Mia (40) of Barobazar Badur Gacha village of Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah district and Hayrat Ali (35) of Syedpur Kodalipur area of Chougacha. Hayrat Ali is a hired motorcycle driver and Bulu Mia businessman by profession.
According to local sources, after finishing work from Jessore city, Bulu Mia and Hayrat Ali left for home on a motorcycle. On the way, they met with an accident at a place called Shantala Pepsi Company in Jessore cantonment. However, the police could not determine whether they collided with the vehicle.
Locals came to see the accident car on the side of the road and two dead on the spot. Later, the local residents informed the police and fire service personnel and recovered the two bodies and sent them to Jessore General Hospital morgue.
Inspector of Police (Investigation) AKM Shafiqul Alam Chowdhury of the police station said that it could not be confirmed with what the two motorcyclists were involved in the accident. The victims were rescued and sent to Jessore General Hospital morgue.
