Mashrafe Bin Mortuza’s Sylhet Strikers are in flying form in the current season of BPL. Sylhet is progressing irresistibly by picking up four wins in four consecutive matches. There is no team that can stop Sylhet in this year’s BPL.
Sylhet, running in field games, suddenly has a dark shadow of fixing. A director of Sylhet has already received a proposal to fix the match. Mirpur’s cricket district is now buzzing with such rumours.
Meanwhile, it is also known that Sylhet has already informed the representative of BCB’s anti-corruption unit (AKSU) about the matter.
Sylhet captain Mashrafe spoke about this after picking up the fourth straight win against Dhaka Dominators on Tuesday.
Asked if Aksu was asked to take any precautions, Mashrafe said, ‘A player who is playing here cannot say that he does not know about it. There is nothing to be cautious about. He who does not know, tells a lie. right? So there is nothing to be cautious about.’
The captain of the country also said, ‘I can say clearly whether he has told the director or not. If Aksuke didn’t say it, that’s another matter. And it’s very good. So naturally, if something came to them, they would tell Aksuke. But I think everyone in the team knows what to do.’
