There will be no increase in commodity prices during the upcoming Ramadan: FBCCI president
Our Islam Desk: The president of FBCCI, the top organization of businessmen, has expressed hope that the price of daily necessities will not increase in the country’s market during the coming Holy Ramadan. Jasim Uddin. He expressed this optimism in a discussion meeting on the review of import, storage, supply and price situation of daily necessities on the occasion of upcoming Ramadan held at Motijheel Federation Building on Sunday (February 12).
All stakeholders including retail and wholesale traders, various market associations, manufacturers, importers, suppliers, National Consumer Directorate TCB have participated in the meeting to determine what to do in order to keep the market stable during Ramadan.
President Jasim Uddin said, the life of people has become very difficult due to the effect of Ukraine-Russia war. In this situation, if you take the opportunity to blame each other, it will not happen, it cannot happen. We will not allow ourselves to be tarnished by a few traders. All religions around the world depreciate their festival time, but we increase our infamy. I can make a promise from this year, the prices will decrease during fasting, not increase.
