Order not to teach ‘research lessons’ of class VI-VII
Our Islam Desk: The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has withdrawn two ‘Inquiry Lessons’ books for History and Social Science subjects for the 2023 academic year. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (MAUSHI) has given instructions not to teach it in schools. This instruction has been sent to all field level officials of the country.
According to Maushi’s notification, two ‘Inquiry Lessons’ textbooks of ‘History and Social Science’ of class VI and VII have been withdrawn. It has been asked to make some necessary corrections in some chapters of the textbooks of ‘Practical Lessons’ and ‘Investigative Lessons’ of class VI of these two subjects. Instructions have been requested to take necessary action in this regard.
Last Friday (February 10) NCTB chairman Prof. In this notification signed by Farhadul Islam, it is said that the textbooks of history and social science for the sixth and seventh classes of the 2023 academic year have been withdrawn from teaching. Some chapters of ‘Practice Text’ and Class VI Science ‘Inquiry Text’ of those two classes will also be revised. The amendments will be communicated to the educational institution soon.
