Noor Nabi Azad, headmaster of Paikura ARP High School of Jhenaigati Upazila in Sherpur, has been accused of not resigning even though his term of service has expired. Head teacher Noornavi Azad’s maximum age of service ended on December 31, 2022, but he is still holding the position of head teacher of the institution.
It is known that Noor Nabi Azad’s date of birth is January 1, 1963 on his national identity card. Accordingly, he is scheduled to retire on December 31. But instead of doing that, it is alleged that he is using various tricks and influences to remain in the job by creating another national identity card showing the date of birth on September 10, 1964.

When speaking to Noor Nabi Azad, head teacher of Paikura ARP High School, he said that the date of birth on the national identity card was not correct while taking the job. Therefore, the correct date of birth has been determined as 10 September 1964 after correcting the National Identity Card.

Jhenaigati upazila education officer. Mustafa Kamal said, according to the rules, the term of service of head teacher Noor Nabi Azad ended on December 31, 22. There is no chance for him to remain in the job. As per rules he will retire handing over his duties to the Senior Assistant Headmaster of the said school. If he fails to do so, departmental action will be taken against him.
