This information is known from a report of an online magazine called ‘Scientific Bangladesh’, which monitors the research situation in Bangladesh, made with data from this. Since 2012, Scientific Bangladesh has been publishing the list of research situation in Bangladesh with the help of Scopus database.
According to the report, Rajshahi University (Rabi) is ranked sixth in the list by publishing 570 research papers. However, last year the institution was in the second position by publishing 707 research articles. Compared to last year, 137 research articles are less than the famous Cambridge of the East, Rajshahi University.
In 2022, 12 thousand 843 scientific documents including research articles were published from Bangladesh. Which in 2021 was 11 thousand 477 research articles. There were 8 thousand 140 in 2020, 6 thousand 363 in 2019 and 5 thousand 234 in 2018.
Daffodil International University is second in the list. 899 scientific documents have been published from this university.
Apart from this, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology is in the third place (777), Jahangirnagar University is in the fourth place (655), North South University is in the fifth place (582), Bangladesh Agricultural University is in the seventh place (535), the only research institute in the country is in the eighth place and the International Liberal Research Center is in the eighth place. , Bangladesh (ICDDR’B). 497 scientific documents of the institute have been published.
